Last night, Raquel Mason (11) won first place at the diving meet. When asked how she felt it went, Mason replied “It felt good because I got last place last year. There was more people this year so it felt like more of a competition. I have been sick for the past week and I did not think I could’ve done it.” She has been done diving for a year and a half and she has done gymnastics since she was three years old. She plans on taking it to college and competing at the collegiate level. Her training has helped her to become the amazing athlete she is today.

She was very proud and she is looking forward to her next meet.
