This past Wednesday, October 4  was senior night for girls volleyball. The two seniors this year are Alexis Robinson and Mikaela Juda. With an amazing celebration and taking the win against Seminole High School in three sets, our seniors had hearts full of joy. The gym was filled from wall to wall with pictures and posters of Alexis and Mikeala to how much they mean to the Lake Nona girls volleyball team.

Mikeala Juda is one of the Lions starting outside hitters that gains the team point after point every game. Following Alexis Robinson, Lake Nona’s study body president as a right side hitter. These girls are always team players and support the team as much as they can.

These Seniors have been part of Lions volleyball since they were freshman and have come such a long way and will be missed very much. During the ceremony these girls gave such heartwarming and very touching speeches, thanking friends to family and coaches or the support and memories they’ve experienced these past four years.

The crowd was there with support and friends there cheering them on. They have worked hard and deserved every point playing on the court. These girls might be leaving but once a lion always a lion, Go Alexis and Mikeala!
