This past week has been the first week back for our spring sports since Spring Break, March 12-15. Many of our players were very happy to be back out on the field. Our girls varsity lacrosse team recently had a game against Orangewood Christian school on Tuesday, March 23.  The ultimate score of the game was 12-14, with our Lions scoring a total of 12 goals against the Orangewood Rams. One of the varsity players, Sophomore Chelsey Torres, said that “The game did have its challenges, but we pushed through it because that’s what we do as a team.” Challenges often come with any sports game and that is what makes it worth it.  Overall, with the many rising difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our athletes are still practicing and preparing for the upcoming games. The Lady Lions lacrosse team is constantly pushing through and giving it their best for the 2021 spring season.
