Varsity Baseball wins big in first two games of season

The Lake Nona Lions took on the East River Falcons on Tuesday, February 18, and got a decisive victory in a 10-2 win. Chris Coll pitched a complete game only allowing one earned run and striking out eight. Michael Coreano was the breakout star with three hits and three RBI’s.

On Thursday, February 20th, Varsity Baseball traveled to Trinity Preparatory School and took off right off the bat. In a 15-0 win Diego Tamirez pitched a complete shutout, ending the game after five innings. Michael Coreano hit the first home run of the season to end opening week on a stellar note.
