Once the sun fell, Lake Nona High girls got to work. This year’s Powder Puff might have not had any cheerleaders but no one needed them to get into the spirit. The first game saw the juniors easily take down underclassmen in a quick match leading to the championship.

Running back Daniela Silva said “I had a great time on the field with all of my friends. It’s not about winning, this is senior year we’re just here to have fun.”

The seniors fell to the juniors 26-16. Senior Daniela Silva led the charge against the juniors with two flag pulls.
