Logan Keith is a four year letterman for softball and a tremendous athlete. In her junior season she led the team in home runs, batting average, and runs scored. Now Keith is approaching the middle of her senior season.

“I have learned that things don’t always go as well as you’d hope but no matter what, you have to push through the mistakes.” Keith 12 said.

But not only is she a great player, but a great leader as well. Logan was voted captain by her teammates for her senior year.

“I have learned and still am in the process of learning how to be the best leader I possibly can be.” Keith 12 said.

Being a leader comes with difficulties when 12 girls are looking up to you, with last seasons district championship win adding pressure to this responsibility but she has proven her success from the start. Her teammates admire her leadership and Logan pushes them to be better.

“She takes control at the right times and makes sure we are at our best. To me personally, she gives me advice and helps me stay focussed on the field.” Avery Viancos 10 said

Logan sets her leadership example on and off the field. She is selfless and cares about her team’s success just as much as she cares about the sport of softball.

“Logan has been a leader to me by always staying on top of me and the other players while being a team player at the same time. She always finds ways to motivate us.”.Leana Hichez said 11.

About a third of the way into the season, the team has a 7-2 record. Keith leads the way currently with a batting average of .550 and is looking to finish the season strong

After highschool, Logan will attend Seminole State College for softball to further her athletic and academic career.
